Alfredo Gea, researcher in the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Department at the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra, is studying a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, USA. Professor Gea, who will stay at the American campus until December, studies causal inference methods and models that he will apply in the future to the PREDIMED study.
He is working with a pioneering group that develops mathematical models for biology to help to achieve causal inference. After his stay in Harvard, he will analyze PREDIMED project results with these new techniques. These new models will help to prove the consistency of this project's outcomes.
