70 students participate in the Summer School
This third edition of the International Program in Medicine was held at the University of Edinburgh

70 students of first and second year of the International Program in Medicine (IPM) School of Medicine have participated in the Summer School 2016. After the last edition held at the University College of Dublin (Ireland), this year took place at the University Edinburgh.
Throughout a week, students have assisted in intensive format, this pioneering program in which classes have been combined with a previous personal work and the subsequent sharing with classroom practices. The program is comprised of subjects such as Basics in propedeutics, Next generation: Histopathology and Movement Disorders in Neurology, among others.
Teaching has been carried out by an international faculty composed of Dr. Mathew Knight (Watford General Hospital in London), Dr. Carlos de Andrea (Histology professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra), Dra. Marta San Luciano (University of California at San Francisco-USA) and Dr. Brett Nicks (Wake Forest University-USA)
This third edition, organized by the academic direction of the IMP has developed between June 26 and July 2. The School of Medicine invites all students to take part in the next edition of the International Program in June 2017.
Learning and leisureThis year teachers have chosen to offer their students more practical classes of his subjects in order to encourage teamwork, which has become more entertaining sessions. Although everything has not been studied, since students enjoyed some free to explore the city or do some kind of sport afternoons. Curiously, the residence where they were staying was a housing used in the Commonwealth Games.
