Resumen:
The article examines the weaknesses of studies such as Los tratadistas ibericos de conducta aulica, by Rico Ferrer, on masculinist anxieties in Quevedo's work, La politica de Dios, and the relationship between Quevedo, Olivares and Felipe IV, correcting some arbitrary interpretations and evaluations through philological control of the texts.
