Entering the job market today requires a solid preparation beyond mere theoretical knowledge of a profession. Businesses highly value candidates that have developed professional competencies which make possible the good use of their knowledge as well as their growth and acquisition of objectives.

Effective communication, leadership, resolution of conflicts, team work, resilience, honesty, and integrity are key in all organizations which aspire to contribute to the wellbeing, service and good work in society.

The Core Curriculum aims to help students develop intellectual habits (critical reading, reflection, and argumentation), rather than merely knowledge about a certain subject. Also, its courses encourage ethical values, cultural interests, creativity, class participation, and respectful intellectual dialogue among students.

In this way, students who take part in Core Curriculum have a preparation which grants them a differential value at the time of job searching. Formation in human values which the Core Curriculum transmits is the foundation upon which technical and specific knowledge of each degree rests. It impulses students to become leaders of the future, creators of an honest and professional culture committed to society.
