Pilar León gave two conferences-colloquium in the AESE (Coimbra Portugal), on April 10 and 12: "Ética nas Ética nas Instituições Hospitalares (I). Conferência-Colóquio. DT-A-797 O atendimento à Sra. Rodrigues" and "Ética nas Instituições Hospitalares (II). Conferência-Colóquio. DT-A-1284 Algo que poderia ter-se evitado." Both conferences were part of the XIX Programa de Alta Direccão de Instituicões de Saúde, directed to members of the administration board of directors and director of hospital services and departments of the private, public and social sectors.
Education on human affectivity and sexuality
Jokin de Irala participated in the VII Jornada Teológico-Didáctica (7th Theological-Didactic workshop) organized by the "Instituto Superior de Ciencias Religiosas" (ISCR) in the IESE under the title "Person and family. Lines of action and Christian education." His talk was titled "Serving the family. Our children want to know more about affectivity and sexuality."
Natural law and practical rationality
Alejandro Vigo gave three sessions regarding "The hermeneutic Aristotle : Heidegger, Gadamer" in the course "The presence of ancient thought in contemporary philosophy", together with professor Álvaro Vallejo Campos in the Master Program in Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Granada. The seesions were held on March 31 and April 1 and 2.
Julia Urabayen gave a seminar regarding the banality of evil of Hanna Arendt at the Università del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy) on April 28.
Mind-brain
José Ignacio Murillo and Javier Sánchez Cañizares participated in the congress "Toward a Science of Consciousness. 20th Anniversary The Tucson Conference", celebrated at the Center for Consciousness Studies de The University of Arizona (Tucson, EE. UU.) on April 21-26. they presented the following posters: "Consciousness, presence and time" and "Why Quantum Mechanics and the Emergence of Mind should not Be Disentangled."
Navarra Center for International Development
Luis Alberiko Gil-Alaña carried out a stage at the Centre for Empirical Finance at Brunel University (London, United Kingdom) April 8-10. The objective was to finish research articles that he is preparing together with Professor Guglielmo Caporale.
Luis Ravina gave the conference "Could you live on just a dollar a day? One out five do" at the Fundación Rafael del Pino. It was organized by Alumni Madrid and held on April 10.
