The Social Trends Institute offers four scholarships for the University of Navarra's Master of Social Science Research (MSSR) in 2017-2018. The scholarship covers the total cost of tuition.

Scholarship recipients must commit to writing their thesis on a topic related to fashion studies, the cultural impact of globalization, family policies, or care professions. These topics correspond to some of the issues that the Social Trends Institute addresses in its conferences and publications.

Applicants must submit their resume, the application form and a letter of recommendation. Complete applications (including all supporting documentation) should be submitted to Tracey O'Donnell (todonnell@socialtrendsinstitute.org) before May 15, 2017. Scholarship recipients will be announced on May 30, 2017.

Six concentrations

Accredited by the ANECA (Spain's National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation), the MSSR is coordinated by the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) in direct collaboration with the Schools of Communication, Law, Education and Psychology, Nursing, and Humanities and Social Sciences.

This master's program is offered as a gateway for students who intend to undertake interdisciplinary research in the social sciences. The curriculum allows students to pick a concentration in one of the following fields: communication, geodemography, linguistics, education, law and nursing.

Students in the master's program will learn new methodological tools and analytical skills that will enable them to carry out quantitative and qualitative studies pertaining to social and cultural realities, and to lead interdisciplinary projects in a wide range of companies and public and private organizations.
