The Universidad de Navarra ranks top in Spain for Teaching and Research
The most recent study by the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo ranks Navarre in the top three autonomous communities in Spain

The Universidad de Navarra is first in Spain for teaching, learning and research according to the ranking presented today by the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (Foundation for Knowledge and Development).
According to this study, which analyzes 36 indicators of academic performance, the Universidad de Navarra is the second best in Spain in terms of overall results, after the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
This study, the biggest ranking study of Spanish universities, in its latest run, analyzes 73 academic centres, 22 fields of knowledge and 2,235 degree and master's degree courses. To this end, the study divides 36 indicators into five areas: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and contribution to regional development.
The academic centre in Navarre obtained, in the ranking study, a total of 24 indicators of high performance: 6 indicators or intermediate performance; and 3 of lesser (but still positive) performance. Thus, the university was first in Spain for teaching and learning, with 7 indicators of high performance; first in research, with 7 indicators of high performance; and second in knowledge transfer, with 6 indicators of high performance.
Among the positive indicators for the Pamplona campus are the proportion of matriculating student who graduate, publications per lecturer or professor, normalized impact factor of publications, and the number of degree or master's students who come from other regions of Spain. By field of knowledge, the Universidad de Navarra shines in Pharmacy, Medicine and Nursing.
Navarre, top in teaching and learningSimilarly, according to this study by the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo, Navarre as a whole is the best autonomous community for teaching and learning, ahead of the Basque Country, Castile and León, Rioja and Asturias. Navarre comes sixth in knowledge transfer and international orientation.
The five autonomous communities with the greatest number of positive indicators are Navarre, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Madrid and the Basque Country. Navarre is in third place with 16 indicators of high performance, 11 of intermediate performance and 7 of lesser positive performance.
