Curriculum

By offering broad and comprehensive training in the various methodologies involved in social studies, the MSSR provides a flexible path towards the realm of social science research.

This master's program offers an alternative to other degrees that force students to specialize in a single social science discipline. It thus helps students to better understand, first, the methodologies that can be applied generally to communication, geography, linguistics, education and psychology, law, and nursing and then initiates students into methodologies that are required to address specific research within each concentration.

In this sense, the shared modules (theoretical and methodological) offer an original academic opportunity that meets students needs when starting interdisciplinary research in the social sciences that seeks the international projection and social impact associated with the Institute for Culture and Society.
