Spanish Language & Culture

We offer a unique sociocultural course that helps students improve their interpersonal oral and written communicative abilities in just 3 weeks. Courses are based on active learner participation. Students are expected to engage in interactive small and large-group activities. 

The different tasks presented in class will require students to use Spanish in multiple situations that reflect the use of different varieties of Spanish. Students also develop critical thinking and creative skills through a digital storytelling final project. 

All students registered in a course taught in Spanish need to complete a Spanish language online level test. This is sent to the students once their enrollment is confirmed.

The following fees and percentages represent the amounts that will be charged or retained from the amounts paid, not the amounts to be refunded.

• Cancellations until April 18: 100€/student (Application fee) + 10% Tuition + 25% Accommodation 

• Cancellations between April 19 and May 16 (included): 100€/student (Application fee) + 50% Tuition +100% Accommodation 

• Cancellations between May 17 and May 23 (included): 100€/student (Application fee) +75% Tuition +100% Accommodation 

• Cancellations after May 23: No refund

Accommodation Options for Summer Program Participants

The University of Navarra recommends the following two accommodation options for students participating in the Summer Program. You may choose whichever best fits your preferences and budget.materiales audiovisuales con herramientas de IA.

The program is open to undergraduate students currently pursuing a degree in any academic discipline. Students from all fields of study are welcome to apply, regardless of their current major. 

No prior knowledge of Spanish is required. The program offers Spanish courses at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students will be placed in the 
appropriate level based on their Spanish proficiency. 

The Spanish Language & Culture course awards 6 ECTS credits (equivalent to 3 US credits). Students are encouraged to check with their home university to confirm how these credits will be recognized and transferred.

No, accommodation and meals are not included in the program fee. Students are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of their own accommodation and meals during their stay in Pamplona. Further information about accommodation options can be found in the Accommodation section above.
