PhD in Communication in the University of Navarra. My research lines are focused on corporate communication, strategic communication and, since 2013, open innovation. As a result, I have published 12 research papers in national and international journals indexed in JCR, SJR, Scopus, Social Science Citation Index, CIRC, ABI/INFORM, Business Source Premier, Public Affairs Index, Business Source Elite, InRESC, etc. Additionally, I¿ve published two chapter books in international editorials indexed in Scholarly Publisher Indicators (SPI): ICEE. Thanks to the aforementioned work, I received a positive evaluation of a six-year research period (2012-2017) from the Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI) in 2018. As research member, I¿ve had the opportunity to participate in different research projects: (1) two national research projects, the last one focused on open innovation and communication funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and European Funds ERDF. This research project named "Management of the relationship and communication with stakeholders in collaborative innovation processes of the company" analyzed the role of Communication function in open and collaborative innovation processes; (2) I collaborated as assistant researcher to the Spanish partner in the international research project, The Global Capability Framework for Public Relations and Communications Management, funded by the University of Huddersfield; (3) Finally, thanks to a regional project we analysed the role of business associations as intermediaries of innovation, funded by the Caja de Ahorros de Navarra. These four research projects have brught me, not only academic production in terms of publications and conferences about communication and innovation, but also enough skills and know-how to support the management and coordination of some aspects such as budget, planification, monitoring timescales, foresee and prevent difficulties, reporting on the results, etc. From the above perspective, some international research networks emerge from my research activity: Redwinn, Action research network, Liderazgo y ética de las instituciones y empresas and, the oldest one, ¿Communicative Innovation in Institutions (INCOMIN)¿. This is an interdisciplinary research group formed by researchers of Management, Innovation, PR and Communication. As a research group, we¿ve been studying the communicative dimension in the current innovative ecosystem based on an action research methodology in which professional practitioners and researchers work together. Some results include the report: ¿La empresa en el sistema innovador: Desafíos de la comunicación con grupos de interés en la innovación abierta¿ (https://www.unav.edu/documents/29014/4471541/incomin-v4.pdf). Three PhD students are working on their thesis focused on social innovation, open innovation and communication as group members. Since I got my PhD in 2013 (Cum laude, international mention & best PhD project grant) I worked as an assistant professor in the School of Economics and Business Administration (University of Navarra) and after that in the School of Communication as Associate professor (University of Navarra). This professional background allows me the opportunity to navigate in an interdisciplinary professional and acquire the competencies and capabilities to address the complexity of an interdisciplinary research project.
