The new Atlas of Palliative Care in Africa, led by the ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) and the African Palliative Care Association (APCA), is a study covering 54 countries that provides the most comprehensive and rigorous information to date on the situation across the continent. The project involved the collaboration of 151 expert consultants, applying the new conceptual framework of the World Health Organization (WHO).
