Entrance and admission to the Doctoral Degree in Complex Systems are verified in accordance with the provisions of Articles 6 and 7 of RD 99/2011:

Ordinarily, PhD candidates at the University of Navarra begin their doctoral program of study at the start of the academic year (September 1). To do so, pre-registration on the Doctoral Degree in Complex Systems must be carried out in accordance with the instructions in the Admissions procedure, document before April 30 in the preceding academic year, and preferably by email (doctorado@fisica.unav.es). The official application to the University must be made before May 31.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

• "La Caixa" scholarships for doctoral students at Spanish universities

Twenty-five scholarships for Spanish students who will enroll in doctoral programs for the first time in the 2014-2015 academic year. The scholarships have an initial duration of one year and may be extended for the same duration up to a maximum of four years. 

Candidates who receive a scholarship must undertake an overseas study period for a minimum total duration of six months in the first three years of the doctoral degree.

The total amount awarded is €113,500 for the maximum four-year duration. This amount includes remuneration for the scholarship recipient and social security contributions incurred by the University, as well as an extra payment every year for additional expenses such as the registration payment and associated fees, complementary training expenses, books, software programs, subscriptions, registration fees for conferences, travel and insurance.
