Yuemin Ding

Yuemin Ding (Senior Member, IEEE) received a doctoral degree in electronic systems engineering from the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, Hanyang University, Ansan, South Korea, in 2014. He was an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin, China, from 2015 to 2019. From 2017 to 2018, he did a research stay at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. He was with the Department of Energy and Process Engineering for postdoctoral research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway from 2019 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been an Associate Professor at the Tecnun School of Engineering, University of Navarra, San Sebastián, Spain. He has been leading or heavily involved in research projects funded by the National Research Foundation of South Korea, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Australian Research Council, etc. He has also been working closely with the industry, including the State Grid in China, the LSIS in South Korea, etc. He has been granted five patents in the US, South Korea, and China and published 30+ journal articles. In 2022, he was selected for the Gipuzkoa Fellowship and the Ramón y Cajal Fellowship in Spain. His research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), smart grid communication, demand response in smart grid, and user-centric building digitalization.
