Resumen: Assessing the development of palliative care worldwide: a set of actionable indicators provides a refined set of actionable indicators that can be used by countries to monitor and assess the development of palliative care. The indicators have been identified on the basis of their relevance and feasibility by experts from across the globe. The indicators are applicable to all settings including countries in the very early stages of palliative care development. The target audience of this report includes policy-makers, palliative care programme managers and health-care workers. The closing section of the report is dedicated to detailed support to country stakeholders on the selection and implementation of palliative care indicators at national or sub-national levels.
