The originality of the last of the Exemplary novels includes difficulties in its dramatization. This article sets out an approach to contemporary dramatizations of the Coloquio, done by Juan Mayorga and Gaston Borges, to find out the ways they confront the original, the connections they set up, besides the mark of their own legacy.
