This paper presents part of the research carried out on some architectural drawings associated with industrial design in Spain during the 50s. The selection of these was made in the context of the research team in which we participate about the SEDI group (Society of Industrial Design Studies) and all of them come from the COAM¿s file. These are professional drawings by Javier Feduchi Benlliure (1929-2005), among them some of the elaborated ones for the project of pavilion for the VIII Trade Fair of Bilbao in the year 1957. We also present unpublished drawings prepared for other fairs or exhibition elements. Through these graphical analyses, we will document their participation in the elaboration of architectural drawings linked to industry and industrial design, as well as the graphic characteristics that accompany the way of understanding and representing these types of projects.

The purpose of this paper is to rethink the methodology of teaching freehand analytical drawing and the approach in which to incorporate technology and new graphic tools, exploring attractive forms of learning that can be combined with the traditional ¿workshop¿ model that remains effective, although current health circumstances have put it in crisis. The aim is to contribute with our experience of freehand drawing through a renewed ¿sketching club¿ model adapted to the learning objectives. The group that learns to draw is enriched by the spontaneity of those who join simply for the pleasure of drawing and because of the interdisciplinary character that this incorporation brings. The sketching club model, with more than 200 years of existence, lost its prestige due to its elitist character, among other reasons. For some years we have been exploring the possibility of incorporating this figure, in a complementary way into formal learning, because it meets the appropriate conditions to enrich the experience of learning drawing in the current context. The mission is to test its effectiveness with groups of sketchers, who draw as a hobby, transversal in nature and spontaneously incorporating the new digital tools. An experience based on the conviction that skill in the practice of annotation and conceptual sketching and the capacities involved in it, intervene in the development of creative processes from the idea to its formalisation.

The use of drawing as a form of language has always been linked to the history of humankind; at the same time it has been one of its basic development tools, being the very trigger of creativity. Relegated many times to a tool plane at the service of the arts, in the case of architecture, it is not only the indispensable path to make art real ¿ it is also in charge of safeguarding it, thanks to the efforts applied and progress made in the area of architectural heritage. Architecture is the creation of humans, bringing greater knowledge about the history of civilisations; its constructed works constitute a very large segment of enclaves declared to be world heritage sites. Given the value of the architectural drawing as a previous `iteration¿ of the built works (and subsequent recreation of many missing works), with this article, we propose to rethink this quality of drawing as an essential component of the architectural works. Through analysis of its techniques, its characteristics and its qualitative and stylistic content, we aim to establish whether this medium meets conditions to qualify, in certain cases, as part of humanity¿s cultural heritage.

This research presents the influence in Charles-Edouard Jeanneret of his master Charles L'Eplattenier in the context of two institutions. On one hand ¿École d¿Art de La Chaux-de-Fonds, where both figures met and where they established a first line of common work; and on the other hand, the association from the french-speaking Switzerland called l'Oeuvre, in which both briefly met. The activity in both institutions had the same goal and was in reality a single project: the reform of artistic processes bounded to the craft trades to provide the massproduced industrial goods with the added value of artistic quality, following the example of the Deutscher Werkbund. In orderto do this, it was necessary to carry out a profound reform of the drawing education program of l¿Ecole d¿Art and develop a series of propaganda actions allowing to visualize its achievements. Thus, the strategy was based on two pillars: education and propaganda. This research details how Jeanneret contributed to thisproject through his involvement in both, l¿École d¿Art¿s renovation of drawing education and the Association l'Oeuvre¿s various projects. Through them we discover the origin of some of the subjects that Le Corbusierwill devote its attention to, characters that will play an important role in different moments of his life, or projects and articles that announce theoretical proposals or practices of his subsequent work.
