Carmen Aranda is Professor of Business Department at the School of Business and Economics of University of Navarre since 1998. She has a Ph.D in Business Administration from the University of Navarre (1997) and she has also been a Postdoctoral Fellow in the University of California, LA (1998-1999). She is the assistant of the head of studies of the business school.
She has taught different courses in finance at undergraduate as well as graduate level, i.e., corporate finance, investment under uncertainty, and derivatives. Currently, she teaches an introductory course on Fundamentals of finance. Her research interests are real options, credit risk, budgets and performance measurement systems. Her work has been published in refereed journals such as The Accounting Review and The Academy of Management Journal.
