The University of Navarra conducts basic and applied research
in nearly all academic fields. Since its inception in 1952, the
scientific output has witnessed a steady increase and positioned
the University as a reference in Spain and beyond. Over the past
few years in particular, research activities have taken on an increasingly
international dimension, and the University's activities appear
frequently in CORDIS.

The University of Navarra is, and has been, involved in
multiple research projects at a European level with an active participation
in the 4th, 5th and 6th Framework Programme.
Furthermore, the University has obtained financing from a number
of other Community programmes.

RESEARCH MANAGEMENT
The Scientific and Technological Institute (ICT) is the University
of Navarra's research management entity. The Department for International
Projects is staffed with highly specialised personnel and offers
support to the research groups and guarantees a smooth and correct
participation and execution of research contracts, projects, etc..
The assistance covers administrative, financial and budgetary support,
advise on legal and contractual issues.
