Licentiate Degree in Philosophy
The objective of the licentiate degree is for students to reach a special level of academic maturity over the two years (120 ECTS) through the in-depth study of philosophical subjects that aim to provide them with further specialization. Students can undertake the following specialties:
Epistemology and Metaphysics, in which the harmony between academic rationality and metaphysics, and revealed faith is underlined.
Ethics and Human Action, which takes an in-depth look at the ethical and anthropological foundations of Christian humanism in our dialogue with contemporary culture.
As part of the licentiate degree, students are also required to write and present a licentiate degree dissertation, which must be defended before a committee.
