Policy

  • Rooms can be reserved a maximum of 7 days in advance, for periods of 30 minutes up to a maximum of two hours per day.

  • Reservations can be made for successive half-hour intervals, up to a maximum of two hours.

  • If you are not going to use it, you must cancel your reservation to make the room available to others.

  • After 15 minutes, if the user who reserved the room has not shown up, the reservation will be canceled, the user will be penalized and the room will be made available.

  • The person who made the reservation is responsible for the proper use of the room. If there are any problems with the room prior to using it, you must inform the Library Services staff.

  • This service is subject to the Library's General Policy:

    • You must maintain a working environment, without raising your voice, so as not to disturb other users.

    • Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited.

  • The Library reserves the right to cancel reservations and temporarily penalize users who hinder or prevent the efficient use of rooms or equipment.

  • The following irregularities are grounds for penalization:

    • Not showing up to a reserved room. Leaving the room, with study materials left inside, for a period of more than 15 minutes.

    • Reserving the room for a single person.Group Work Rooms

    • Causing property damage in the room.

    • Disrespecting Library Services staff.

    • Failure to follow the instructions of Library Services staff regarding:

      • The occupation of the room by a number of people exceeding its capacity.

      • Causing a level of noise that disturbs others around you.

      • The initial penalty is a block on reservation rights for 3 months.

      • Repeat offenders will be blocked for 1 year.

      • In the case of damage to the rooms, the person responsible for the reservation will bear the cost of repairs.
