Formal requests

According to the academic regulations, some situations must be considered on an individual basis, for which reason they are to be presented in a formal request.

Most formal requests are submitted online through the student academic information portal.

All other formal requests are made by filling out a form, enclosing the required documentation and submitting everything to the Office of the Registrar (Central Building) or the Administrative Office of the Center.

  • Undergraduate degree programs

    • Recognition of credit equivalency

    • Application for admission to second-year undergraduate degree programs, after having completed the first year of required studies at the University

    • Application for admission to university-accredited qualifications (diplomas, specialist programs, etc.)

    • Other applications not included on the student academic information portal (Application form)

For formal requests resolved by the Dean or Director of the Center, it is possible to appeal the decision before the University's Office of the Executive Council by means of a written request detailing the circumstances of the case and submitted to the Office of the Registrar.

For formal requests resolved by the Office of the Executive Council, it is also possible to appeal the decision by means of a written request submitted to the Office of the Registrar. If the case has already been considered, any new circumstances that were not presented the first time, or those which it seems have not been adequately evaluated, shall be provided.
