What will this degree give me?

The School of Medicine seeks to give each of its graduates a well-rounded education: they will be experts in disease and illness with up-to-date knowledge of the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and a commitment to research. Special emphasis is placed on practical knowledge and skills.

Professional opportunities

Professional opportunities in medicine depend on success in the MIR exams. Other professional possibilities include: research; teaching; specialization in foreign countries; private medical practice in Spain.

Extra-curricular activities

Clinical practice or participation in research projects abroad. Priority consideration for MIR posts available in the University Hospital. Participation as student-interns in different departments. Participation in biomedical research groups. Bilingual training in medical subjects. Opportunity to take part in research projects at CIMA (Center for Applied Medical Research, University of Navarra). Opportunity to take part in the writing and publication of scientific papers.
